Saints and United Way Celebrate at Galvez Middle

The New Orleans Saints, Verizon, and Capital Area United Way visited Galvez Middle school for the Louisiana Character Playbook Celebration. Over 100 7th graders experienced a panel of Saints, United Way, and Verizon executives, NFL referees, and Saints Hall of Famer, Michael Lewis. The event was hosted by the Saints director of community program Jason Trosclair. The panel discussed the opportunity that each student has to build their character and to bring those skills into their families and community. The panel answered questions from the audience and shared their personal story of character and how they overcame obstacles in their lives.  The conversation was followed by a Sno Ball truck surprise for the students and staff.
