Kansas City Character Playbook Live
On Tuesday, December 18th Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Chris Conley and Cheerleader LaKeyna hosted the largest Character Playbook LIVE to date, with more than 2,200 students across Kansas and Missouri. During the first activity Chris and LaKeyna asked the students True and False questions related to peer pressure, asking a trusted adult for help, cyber-bullying, persuasive advertisements, and positive communication. The students were ecstatic to hold up their True or False cards when answering each question.
Throughout the Character Playbook LIVE the students were able to hear Chris and LaKeyna speak about having high character and the importance of healthy relationships. One of the biggest takeaways emphasized by the Chiefs duo was overcoming challenges and believing in yourself. Chris and LaKeyna ended by thanking all of the schools for participating and singing a shortened version of the popular song “Baby Shark.”
