HOUSTON TEXANS CHARACTER PLAYBOOK CELEBRATION
The Houston Character Playbook celebration was held on Tuesday, November 7th at Ortiz Middle School. Texans safeties Kurtis Drummond and Cory Moore were joined by Texans cheerleaders and representatives from the United Way of Greater Houston and Verizon. The celebration event included a personal interaction with the special guests in the library and continued with a panel discussion on character and healthy relationships with the entire 8th grade. The panelist shared advice and personal experience with decision making and their personal definition of what having character is all about. The Character Playbook celebration marks the second year of the program in Houston schools.
