Detroit Character Playbook LIVE

On Tuesday, September 19th, Detroit Lions Wide Receivers, Golden Tate and Marvin Jones Jr. joined us for an online video chat with students across the Detroit metro area. Since it was an off day for the team, students were able to see Marvin on daddy duty when his son, Murrell, made a guest appearance. There were 8 schools in attendance which included about 200 spirited students. The students arrived early and showed their excitement by waving rally towels, dancing and even “dabbing” in front of their classroom cameras.

Through various interactive character building activities, Golden and Marvin were able to give the students excellent personal advice on how to become well-rounded human beings. In response to one student’s question about effective communication, Golden stressed the importance of empathy.
