Character Playbook visits Workman Jr. High School

On May 21st the Dallas Cowboys, United Way of Tarrant County, and United Way of Metro Dallas brought the Character Playbook Experience to Workman Jr. High in Arlington. The Experience is a two part event with a Character Panel that was led by Cowboys reporter Kristi Scales and included Cowboys Legend Chad Hennings, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, and Executives from the United Way.

Part two of the event took place in the school gym and included football skills stations that were led by United Way employees and volunteers. The event was completed by an appearance by the one and only Rowdy who, as usual, brought the energy to a new level.

Workman Jr. High is completing their 3rd year of the Character Playbook program and has been an outstanding champion for the program since the beginning. The momentum in the North Texas market continues to grow and hopes to continue to spread the message of character throughout the Lone Star State. See more on the event here.
