Character Playbook Visits the Pat Bowlen Field House
On May 3rd local students from North Arvada Middle and Pinnacle Charter School visited the Pat Bowlen Field house to participate in the Character Playbook Experience. The Experience is a two part event that kicks off with a character conversation that was emceed by Broncos reporter Phil Milani and included Broncos Player Casey Kreiter, Broncos Cheerleaders, and Eddie Koan from the Mile High United Way.
The panel explored topics such as being positive on social media, how to be a good friend, and how to live a life of purpose.
Part two of the event took place on the Broncos practice field and included 6 character themed stations that were led by an energetic crew of Mile High United Way volunteers. Students competed in the 40 yard dash, an obstacle course, and the most challenging of footballs skills, the field goal.
Broncos mascot Miles was a big hit as usual and brought an extra element of fun and excitement to the event. Character education is a alive and well in the Mile High City and looks to continue to grow going into year four of the Character Playbook program.
