Character Playbook Experience comes to Kepner Middle

On the morning of May 4th the Mile High United Way, Verizon and the Denver Broncos joined forces to bring the Character Playbook Experience to Kepner Middle School in Denver. The two part event kicked off in the school auditorium with Broncos host Phil Milani leading a discussion on why character matters. Milani was joined by Broncos player Todd Davis, as well as, executives from both the Mile High United Way and Verizon. The panel included student questions that got to heart of practical application of character in everyday life. Part two of the event took place on the beautiful outdoor fields of Kepner Middle. Students had the opportunity to complete the Character Playbook Experience which is a 6 station round robin event with each station having a character theme on which to focus during the activity. Broncos players Will Parks, Andreas Knappe, Tim Patrick, and Justin Simmons also joined in the fun by helping student raise their game at each of the events stations. The year two celebration of character in Denver was a huge success and high hopes going into year three. Go Broncos!
