Atlanta Certification Event Recap

On March 29, 2017, the United Way of Greater Atlanta and the Atlanta Falcons recognized over 200 active Character Playbook students at Forest Park Middle School in Clayton County. For their great work in the course, students had the chance to ask Falcons players Akeem King and Joshua Perkins questions about the lessons in character and healthy relationships they learned. Students were also awarded certificates of completion to commemorate their accomplishment. Forest Park Middle School teacher Stacey Slater was awarded the Innovation in Character Education award for her committment to empowering their students to become better students, classmates and people.
